Earl Conrad Walton

Earl Conrad Walton, 73, of Lewisburg passed away on Friday November 16, 2012 at his home. Born August 12, 1939 at Renick he was the son of the late Edward Alpine and Edna Catherine Halterman Walton. Earl was a graduate of Renick High School. After graduation he served in the U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command. For seventeen years he was a paper carrier for the Charleston Daily Mail; and attended Calvary Baptist Church. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Eldon, Larry, and Henry Walton. Earl is survived by one brother, Don Walton of Maxwelton; sisters, Helen McMillion of Frankford, Phyllis Miller of Lewisburg, Juanita Dineen and Dick of White Sulphur Springs, and Sue Walton Wyman and John of Lewisburg; sister-in-law, Joyce Walton; several nieces and nephews; and his many friends at the Cornerstone IGA who were always looking out for him. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday Nov. 20 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with the Rev. Ron Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery at Renick. Friends may call from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Monday, Nov. 19 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Child and Youth Advocacy Center 212 W.
