Edna Brackenrich

Edna Brackenrich, 96, of Hines passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Brier Nursing Home in Ronceverte. Born August 3, 1916 at Lanark she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Daisey Miller Hudnall. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Brackenrich; a son, Bobby; and three daughters, Brenda, Lucille, and Shirley. Edna is survived by six sons, Danny Brackenridge and wife, Dianna of Lewisburg, Mike Brackenridge and wife, Cathy of Hines, Tommy Brackenridge and wife, Carol of Rupert, and Roger Brackenridge and life companion, Delores of Hines, Charles Brackenridge and companion, Delores and Paul Brackenridge and wife, Luella; daughters, Betty Compton and husband, Sam of Culpepper, VA, and Mary Jones of Bellburn; twenty-nine grandchildren and sixty great grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday July 28, 2013 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Sherman McComb officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
