Edward Emmett Robinson

Edward E. Robinson, 96, of Ronceverte passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at his home. Born June 19, 1918 at Ronceverte, he was the son of the late Edward David and Veda Blair Robinson and was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly; granddaughter, Vicki Jo Robinson; brother, Forest H. Robinson and sister, Anna Higginbotham. Mr. Robinson was a life long member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte, a member of the Ruritan Club and a US Army Veteran of both World War II and the Korean War. He is survived by his children, Forest E. Robinson of Fairlea, Carolyn Dineen and husband, Johnny of Savannah, TN and Gary W. Robinson of Princeton; Grandchildren, Forest E. Robinson II, Michael W. Robinson, Kathy Kirk, Sandra Robinson, Cynthia McCallister, Shelly Webb, John and Chris Dineen. A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Riverview Cemetery in Ronceverte.
