Ellen Jane Workman

RENICK, WV - Ellen Jane Workman, 91, of Renick, WV passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at The Brier, Ronceverte, WV. Born April 27, 1925 at Renick Valley, WV she was the daughter of the late Walter Hambrick and Offie Olive Hambrick. Mrs. Workman was a Homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three children, Janice A. Brodt, David D. Workman and Joseph Jerry Workman and a brother, Avery Arnold Hambrick. Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Joseph Lee Workman, children, Robert L. Workman of New Freedom, PA, Gary P. Workman of Laurel, DE and Pamela J. Skidmore of Clifton Forge, VA, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, with Pastor Roger Alder officiating. Burial will follow in the Workman Family Cemetery, Renick, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the funeral home. The family will gather at the Woodland Church in Auto following the burial for a bereavement dinner.
