WILLIAMSBURG, WV – Emanuel Lee Poe, 80, of Williamsburg, WV passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Greenbrier Healthcare Center, Lewisburg, WV. Born June 10, 1939 at Renick, WV he was the son of the late Carl Henry and Belva Irene White Poe. Emanuel retired from the WV Department of Transportation. He was a Boy Scout Leader, Lay Speaker for Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church, Training Officer for Williamsburg Fire and Rescue. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to garden. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty years, Phyllis Ann Dillion Poe, two sons, Michael Lee Poe and William Joseph “Billy” Poe, sister, Hazel Paulin, brother in law, David Paulin and sister in law, Joyce Poe. Survivors include one daughter, Drema Poe of Middletown, OH, brother, Earl Poe of White Sulphur Springs, WV, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
