Ernest George Roach

ASBURY, WV – Ernest George Roach, 75, of Asbury, WV passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at his home. Born January 30, 1948, in Asbury, WV he was the son of Jane Workman Roach and the late George Eskel Roach. Mr. Roach was a man of faith. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and Germany. He was in the Airborne division being awarded the Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Thomas “Richard” Workman, aunts, a host of cousins, special cousin and caretaker, Charlotte and a host of friends. Graveside service with Military Rites and Pastor Jacob Riley officiating will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery.
