Ernie Williams

LEWISBURG, WV – Earnest Edward “Ernie” Williams, 68 of Lewisburg, WV passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Peyton Hospice House. Born May 22, 1955, in Lewisburg, WV he was the son of the late Oretha Faye Williams Franke. Ernie had worked for True Value for twenty years. He was a member of the Enon Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale “Kenny” Williams.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-five years, Jeanne Morgan Williams, sons, Corey Williams of Frankford, WV and Casey Williams of Morgantown, WV, stepfather, Richard Ernst Franke, special niece, Laura Martin (Adam) of Mason, OH, several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, May 26, 2023, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Morgan Cemetery, Ronceverte, WV. The family would like to thank the staff of the Peyton Hospice House for the wonderful care provided.
