Erskin Hood
July 3, 1936 — July 28, 2022
RONCEVERTE, WV – Erskin Hood, 86 of Ronceverte, WV passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. Born July 3, 1936, in Jasper, AL he was the son of the late Richard Earl and Willie Mae Smothers Hood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Louise Turner Hood and his companion, Peggy Holliday.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Sandy Bucklen (Vernon) of Lewisburg, WV, several nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net . Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
