Ethel Montague Piercy

LEWISBURG, WV – Ethel Montague Piercy, 99 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Monday November 28, 2022, at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV. Born October 28, 1923, in Keiffer, WV she was the daughter of the late Emory Clyde Hayslette and Lennie Walker Hayslette. Mrs. Piercy had worked as a Nurses Aide for Greenbrier Valley Hospital, in the Burlington Ribbon Factory in White Sulphur Springs and sat with the elderly. She was a member of the Lewisburg Baptist Church,

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Ira Piercy, six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Ernest Piercy (Suzanne) of Lewisburg, WV, sister, Alma June Holland of Lewisburg, WV, grandchildren, Autumn Lewis (Joe), Alisha Doyle (Jeff), Joshua, Karlie and Hannah Schmidt, great grandchildren, Stone, Ashton, Tyler, Faith, Kyrie and Delilah, great-great grandchildren, Elana and Stella, several nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Jonathan Comer officiating. Burial will follow in the End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Saturday at the funeral home.
