Eugene Wallace Gabbert

Eugene Wallace Gabbert, 81, of Lewisburg went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 following a long illness. Born on September 1, 1932 at Auto he was the son of the late Emmett and Gladys Sheets Gabbert. Gene worked at Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore and retired after thirty years of service. He served in the United States Army. Other than his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Gabbert. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of thirty-nine years, Dollie ; daughter, Kathy Sibiski and husband, Joe; granddaughter, Amanda Dash; grandson, Joe Sibiski; great granddaughters, Annabelle and Alyssa Dash; brother, Doug Gabbert and wife, Darlene; sister, Pat Castle; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday September 21 at the Woodland Community Church at Auto with Pastors Everette Defibaugh and Johnny Pruitt officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00PM on Friday at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
