Eugene Owen Morrison

Eugene O. Morrison, 90, of Frankford passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea.Born December 7, 1925 at Rock Camp near Renick, he was the son of the late Elmer and Bessie Stacy Morrison. Gene was a World War II veteran of the US Army and was a retired steelworker.He is survived by his wife, Edythe Nelson Morrison; one son, Terry Morrison and wife, Andrea of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Courtney McLaughlin and husband Brad, Max Morrison, Elizabeth Morrison, Michael Zanni and wife, Sarah and daughter, Madison, Lauren Zanni and children, Taylor and Autumn, and Melanie Darrow and children, Erica, Madison and Braden; brother, Jerry Morrison and wife, Midge and sister, Sylvia Boyce.Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Robert O. Hefner officiating. Entombment with military honors will follow in Rosewood Cemetery Mausoleum in Lewisburg.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Morgan Funeral Home.
