Eva Marie Workman Patterson

CORNSTALK, WV - Eva Marie Workman Patterson of Cornstalk, WV passed away, Thursday, December 29, 2016 at The Brier. Born April 15, 1932 at Esty, WV she was the daughter of the late Waldo and Arvilla Hammons Workman. She was a member of Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church at Williamsburg and had worked as a USPS Clerk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Hanson, second husband, Lee Patterson, son Timothy Hanson and four brothers, Tom, Pat, Olgie and John Workman. Survivors are son, Kirby Hanson and wife Boo of Cornstalk, WV, grandsons, Nathaniel and Jonathan Hanson of Pittsburgh, PA, her twin sister, Murle Workman, brother, Charlie Workman and wife Mona of Clintonville, WV, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, with Pastor Denver Tiller officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, January 2, 2017 at the funeral home.
