Frank Raymond Woolard, 61, of Lewisburg passed away on Tuesday September 20, 2016 at home after a short illness. Born April 24, 1955 in Ronceverte he was the son of the late Elva Lilly Woolard and Raymond Woolard. He graduated from Greenbrier East High School in 1974 and was a former employee of British United Turkeys of America and Davis-Stuart Inc. Frank retired soon after the birth of his youngest daughter, Abigail Rose, and devoted his life to caring for her up until his death. Frank was a friend to everyone he met and had a special gift of bringing comfort to others and was able to give the gift of sight to others through organ donation. He saw God in all of nature and especially loved flowers and watching bluebirds raise their families on his front porch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Woolard; infant son, Frank Woolard II; and his mother-in-law, Emily "Sue" Thomas.
