Gary Scott McKeever, 50, of Ronceverte, WV passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at CAMC – Memorial, Charleston, WV. Born September 20, 1967 he was the son of Diane Collins McKeever Lavoie and the late Gary McKeever. Scotty also known as “Avenger” to his fans was a professional wrestler. Wrestling in the WCW, Steel City Wrestling, ICW Pro Wrestling, United States Wrestling Association, All-State Wrestling, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, Southern States Wrestling, Southern Championship Wrestling, Mason-Dixon Wrestling, Tennessee Mountain Wrestling, Allied Powers Wrestling Federation, Innovate Pro Wrestling, Pinnacle Pro Wrestling, Ohio Championship Wrestling and Primal Conflict Wrestling. He held title reigns of: three-time NWA Mountain State Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, IPW West Virginia Champion, SSW Heavyweight Champion, SSW Tag Team Champion (with Jesse Taylor) and MDW Tri-State Champion. Most people only dream of doing what they love but Scotty lived his dream. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Glen and Ruby McKeever and maternal grandfather, Paul Collins. Including his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Myrtle Collins of Clinton, NC. It was Scotty’s wish to be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
