Gary Lee Walkup

CRAWLEY, WV – Gary Lee Walkup Sr., 74 of Crawley, WV passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at his home. Born March 11, 1948, in Orient Hill, WV he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Walkup and Dora Hazel Taylor Walkup. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Woody Walkup and a sister, Patricia Walkup.

Survivors include his companion, Lesa Fitzgerald, son, Gary Lee Walkup Jr. (Cierra) of Smoot, WV, daughter, Angela Sawyers (Kevin) of Smoot, WV, five step children, Megan Fitzgerald, Samantha Huffman, Jacob Huffman, Joshua Fitzgerald and Jessica Fitzgerald, brothers, Jimmy Walkup and Darrell Walkup of Orient Hill, WV, sisters, Sue Bennett of Rupert, WV and Jean Gladwell of Rainelle, WV, grandchildren, Jesse Tyler Walkup, Bradley McMillion, Kobe Crane, Willow Janelle Ellison, Abbigail Feamster, Allison Feamster and Isaiah “Cole” Feamster, twelve step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
