Gary Allen Weikle Sr.

Gary Allen Weikle Sr., 73, of Ronceverte, West Virginia, passed away on October 26, 2026, in Ronceverte. He was born on November 9, 1952, in Ronceverte, a place that remained closely tied to his life and memory.

Mr. Weikle was known in the community as the owner and operator of Weikles Auto Clinic at the foot of Ronceverte hill. Through his work, he built a familiar and lasting presence in the area, and his name became one many associated with steady service and hard work.

Above all, Gary will be remembered by the family he loved. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Weikle, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. He also leaves behind his children, Gary Allen Weikle Jr. (Wendy), and Tara Fry (Bobby). His memory will also be cherished by his brother, Donnie Weikle (Barbara).

Gary’s legacy continues through his grandchildren, who brought pride and joy to his life: Robby Fry (Kelsey); Gary Allen Weikle III (Dustin); Shayla Fry (Bri); Savannah Weikle (John Scott); and Walter Weikle (Haylee) along with three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. They, along with all who knew and loved him, will carry forward the memory of his life, his work, and the place he held in his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lovetta Wooten; his father, Edward Weikle; and his siblings Billy, Dickie, Kenny, Mickie, Ronnie, and Bonnie.

A graveside service will be held on October 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Adwell Cemetery, Adwell Cemetery Road, Ronceverte, WV.

Gary will be remembered with love, gratitude, and respect by those whose lives he touched.
