Genevieve Meadows Spence

Genevieve Meadows Spence, 93, of Fairlea passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Born March 13, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Juanita Meadows. She was retired from the Greenbrier Hotel where she worked in the salad pantry. Genevieve was a member of Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otho Spence. She is survived by her children; Donald Spence and wife, Marlene of Springfield, PA, Dorothy Lemons and husband Ronald of Lewisburg, WV, and Michael Spence and wife Sheila of Fairlea WV; grandchildren Anita Green and husband John, Donnie Spence, Jr., Brian Spence and wife Christie, Gloria Kincaid and husband Stan, Andrew Lemons and wife April, Michael Dolan, John Spence, Jane Ann Spence; great grandchildren, Christopher Spence, Charlie Spence, Molly Spence, Andrea Lemons, Blaine Adkins, and Ethan Kincaid; and a very special friend Darlene Graham Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Lloyd Camp and Pastor Ross Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg WV.
