George William Dheel

LEWISBURG, WV – George William Dheel, 77, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at his home. Born October 13, 1940 at Tamroy, WV he was the son of the late Hugh and Grace Mammor Dheel. He was a graduate of Lewisburg High School and served four years in the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his foster mother, Irene Crouse, three sisters, Grace Reed, Anna Mae Sears and Bonnie Tayer and a brother Frank Dheel. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 51 years, Ruby McMillion Dheel, two sons, Richard and David Dheel of Covington, VA, sister Clara Hurd and husband Newt of Woodstock, VA, many nieces and nephews. In keeping Mr. Dheel’s wishes his body will be cremated. Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Rev. Jeff Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of the service, Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for memorial contributions be made to the West Virginia Veterans Home – 512 Water Street – Barboursville, WV 25504.
