George Franklin Simmons

LEWISBURG, WV – George Franklin Simmons, 81 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born November 17, 1940, in Mabscott, WV he was the son of the late Nora Ann Simmons Hatcher. Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Erma Simmons, sons, Ray Simmons (Annette) of Frankford, WV, and Paul Simmons of Lewisburg, WV, daughter, Margaret Ann Carver (Mark) of Lewisburg, WV, sisters, Martha Colleran of Michigan and Nora Lee Finney of Virginia, sister-in-law, Phyllis Burns of Lewisburg, WV, grandchildren, Lakene Bostic, Cameron Simmons (Lindsey), Dustin Simmons, Madeline Carver, Mason Carver, Damion Simmons and Noel Ryder and a great grandson, Jordan Simmons.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Vince Deeds officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Ft.
