Gerald W. Ingram, 86, of Lewisburg died Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born April 11, 1927 at Bergoo, WV, he was the son of the late Bun and Lorena Cummings Ingram and in addition to his parents was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen and Leonard; a sister, Theta Mae; half sister, Kathleen Rubay and half brother, Tony. Gerald served in the US Army and Marines and retired from the C&O Railroad as an engineer after 46 years of service. He was a member of Greenbrier Regular Baptist Church in Ronceverte and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Toothman Ingram; daughters, Carolyn Bostic and husband, Danny of Parkersburg and Cathy Ingram of White Sulphur Springs; son, Wayne of Princeton; grandchildren, Amy Burdette, Ashley Mandeville, Emily and Erin Bostic and Joey Ingram; great grandchildren, Devon, Caleb and Travis Burdette, Makenzy and Logan Mandeville and Braden Ingram and brothers, Basil and Maynard Ingram of Clifton Forge, VA, Avis Ingram of Florida and Asil Ingram of White Sulphur Springs.
