RENICK, WV – Gladys Ellen Lewis Ellis, 98, of Renick, WV passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born January 20, 1920 on Butler Mountain, Renick, WV she was the daughter of the late Cassie and Madge Brown Lewis. Mrs. Ellis was a homemaker and a member of the Beulah United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Claude Ellis in 1996, two grandchildren, Beverly Sue Ellis and Shelby Lynn Ellis, two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include four children, Harrison Ellis and wife Brenda and Donnie Ellis and wife Sharon all of Renick, WV, Annabell McMillion of Caldwell, WV and Lucille Siers and husband Melvin of Spokane, WA, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Robert Hefner and Pastor Lee Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Renick, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, March 5, 2018 at the funeral home.
