Hattie Jean Christian

FRANKFORD, WV – Hattie Jean Christian, 85 of Frankford, WV passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, at Stonerise Lewisburg. Born March 19, 1937, in Asbury, WV she was the daughter of the late Merlin Dewey and Mae Lizzie Henson Harvey. Hattie had worked at Kellwood for eighteen years and was a member of the Emmanuel Open Bible Church at Maxwelton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rondel Lee “Jake” Christian, brother William Dewey Harvey and a sister, Betty Breland.

Survivors include a son, Raymond Christian (Elaine) of New Castle, VA, daughter, Nancy Bibb (Pete) of Roanoke, VA, sister, Ada Faye Yates of Lewisburg, WV, grandchildren, Michelle Boone-Orange (Shawn), Justin Boone (Brittney Jackson), Brandon Christian (Melissa), Bradley Christian and Brenton Christian (Marissa), Lindsay Davey (Jim), Laura Bibb (Earl Smith), great grandchildren, Mikalah Ruby, Landen Boone, Landon Christian and Lane Christian, Connor Davey, Brynlee Boone, Ruthann Christian, Nora Paige Christian, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Emmanuel Open Bible Church, Maxwelton, WV with her son, Minister Raymond Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewisburg Community Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2022, at the church.
