Helen G. Campbell

December 5, 1930 — February 23, 2013

Helen Geraldine Campbell, 82, of Frankford went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Greenbrier Manor following a long illness. Born Decemeber 5, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bertha Yates and in addition to her parents was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis; her son David Lee and her brother, Nelson Yates. Helen worked for Burlington Mills at the ribbon factory for twenty years and then worked for the Kellwood Company for twenty years. She was a member of Emmanuel Open Bible Church at Vago where she was also a member of the Senior Circle. She was loved by all and never met a stranger. She will be missed by many family and friends. Survivors include her son, Charles Campbell of Frankford; daughter-in-law Sharon Adams and husband, Orbie of Maryland; grandsons Doug Yates, Tommy Yates, JP Yates and wife, Ashley of Maryland; grand daughters, Dawn Merriman and husband, Matthew of Lewisburg, Jackie Hegeman and husband, Anthony of Pennsylvania; great grandchildren, Austin, Dylan and Ethan of Maryland, Maggie and Cassidy of Lewisburg and Brayden of Pennsylvania; an honorary grandson, Landon Hammons of Ronceverte; sisters, Katherine Cooke of Anthony, Hilda Seldomridge and Emmitt of Lewisburg, Bertha Snedegar of Lewisburg and Margaret Hamrick of Frankford; sister-in-law, Faye Yates of Lewisburg and brothers, Billy Yates and Madeline and Charles Jr. Yates and Carol, all of Lewisburg. Friends may gather on Tuesday, Feb. 26 from 6 to 8 PM at Emmanuel Open Bible Church on Vago Road, Frankford for the visitation. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday Feb. 27 at the church with Pastors, Gary and Debby Devart, Lula Collins and Loretta Boggs officiating.
