Henry W. "Hank" Squibb

Henry W. "Hank" Squibb, 76, born in Missouri November 19, 1935, passed away at his home in Abingdon, MD on Sunday April 8, 2012 after a long illness. He was surrounded by his family and friends as he peacefully departed to heaven. Hank was a veteran of the United States Navy, retired from C&P/At&T as well as McCormick and Company. He is preceeded in death by his father, Vaughn W. and mother, Blanche Squibb; six sisters, Helen Taylor, Esther Medina, Ruth Bryant, Josephine Lawrence, Jane Andor and Grace Mills; two brothers, Vaughn F. and John Squibb. He is survived by his wife, Nannie Dixon Squibb; sons, Randy Dixon of NJ and Jeff Squibb of MD; daughters, Lisa Dixon Walter of MD, Sharon Denslow and Denise McKee of NC; seven grandchildren and his sister, Nell Manning of Missouri. A Graveside service and entombment will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Rosewood Cemetery Mausoleum in Lewisburg with Pastor Marshall Cochran officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 AM Thursday prior to the service at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
