Hilda Jean Halstead

LEWISBURG, WV – Hilda Jean Halstead, 93 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center. Born May 16, 1931, in Berwind, WV she was the daughter of the late Emmett Elvey Meredith and Nellie Gray Mann Meredith.  Hilda was a member of the Edgewood Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Halstead, son, Bobby Halstead, and sisters, Jacqueline Worrell and Betty Collins.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Halstead (Dreama), daughters, Judy McFall (Harold Rhodes), Cathy Osborne (Don) and Crystal Yates (Joey), eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

It was Hilda’s wish to be cremated.  A memorial service will be held at the Edgewood Presbyterian Church, Sunday June 30, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net. Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
