Ireta Faye Johnson

Ireta Faye McMillion Johnson, 91, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, passed away September 28, 2026, at Peyton Hospice House.

Born March 23, 1935 in Esty, WV, she was the daughter of the late Gertrude Sizemore and Eley McMillion. She retired from The Greenbrier Resort, after many years of service.

Ireta enjoyed watching her westerns and listening to Merle Haggard.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-eight years, Isaiah "Bee" Johnson; siblings, Zela McCarty (Harrel), Bruce McMillion (Margaret), William "Pete" McMillion (Mary), Burt McMillion (Inez) and Gerlean McCarty (Ralph).

Survivors include her loving daughters, Darlene Johnson (Wright), Diana Johnson, and Donna Johnson; grandson, Justin Thomas; and great-grandson Isaiah Thomas.

Visitation for Ireta will be held at Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV, on Monday, October 5, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at Morningside Cemetery, Renick, WV.
