Jack Lee Baker

FORT SPRING, WV - Jack Lee Baker 85 of Fort Spring, WV passed away, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at his home. Born November 25, 1931 at Fort Spring, WV he was the son of the late Paul William and Florence Ann Hanger Baker. Mr. Baker was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church at Fort Spring and was a U.S. Airforce Korean War Veteran. He retired as Corporal from the WV State Police after 26 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Lois Ann Dixon Baker. Survivors include two children, Mike Baker and wife Susan, Sally Baker and partner, Sharon Schaefer all of Fort Spring, WV, grandsons, Christopher Baker of Atlanta, GA, Adam Baker and wife Theresa of Simpsonville, SC and Jacob Baker of Fort Spring, WV, great grandchildren, Luke and Charlotte Lois Baker, sisters in law, Alyce Dills, Phyllis Mullins and Brenda Tudor and husband Bob, niece, Tammie Dills and nephew Richard Tudor.Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Grace United Methodist Church, Fort Spring, WV with Pastor Rick Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the Welch-Hanger Cemetery, Fort Spring, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
