Jackie Lee Hull, known to many by his nickname “Hardrock,” passed away on October 25, 2026, in Lewisburg, West Virginia. He was born on January 3, 1968, in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
Jackie was a hardworking man who was known for his skill as a handyman. He especially loved working on lawnmowers and small engines, a pastime and talent that reflected both his practical nature and the satisfaction he found in fixing things with his hands. That same willingness to work and serve others was evident in the way he lived. He would help anyone any way he could, and he will be remembered for his quirky nature and quick wit, qualities that brought laughter and warmth to those around him.
He shared twenty-five years of companionship with Margie Adwell, and that lasting bond was an important part of his life. Jackie is also survived by his parents, Ronald Hull Jr. and Brenda Honaker Hull; his son, Jamie Boyce; and his daughter, Amanda Boyce (Taylor Reynolds). He is further survived by his brothers, Orbry Hull (Brenda L.), and Don Hull (Hafsa); and by his sisters, Cora Morgan (Leslie), Melissa Pinson (Bobby), and Tasha Hull (Jeff).
Jackie also leaves behind his grandchildren, Hunter, Grayson, Lane, and Emberlyn, who were among those to carry forward his memory. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with many family members and friends who will miss his helpful spirit, humor, and familiar presence in their lives.
Family and friends will be received for visitation on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, West Virginia 24901. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Baker officiating.
Jackie will be remembered with love for his kindness, his willingness to lend a hand, and the unmistakable personality that made him one of a kind. His memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
