James Clarence "Jimmy" King

CRAWLEY, WV – James Clarence “Jimmy” King, 56 of Crawley, WV passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness.  Born July 21, 1963 at Clintonville, WV he was the son of the late Patsy Elizabeth Evans.  In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a grandson, Hunter Mallery, grandparents, Bill and Inez Evans and a nephew Cody McDaniel.  Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-four years, Sandra Fortner King, daughter, Heather Nicole Thompson (Travis) of Williamsburg, WV, grandchildren, Wynter, Bentley and Ramsey Thompson, brother, Richard Donald McDaniel of Crawley, WV, nephew, Richard McDaniel Jr. of Crawley, WV, great nephews, Brody and Levi McDaniel and great niece, Kinsley McDaniel.

Due to the regulations associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, and out of love and respect for extended family and friends, a private service for only the immediate family will be held with Pastor Roger “Wahoo” McDaniel officiating.
