James Lockhart

LEWISBURG, WV – James McVay Lockhart, 68 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025, at his home. Born October 29, 1956, in Beckley, WV he was the son of the late Dondal Lockhart. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Peggy Lockhart.
Survivors include his children, Jeannie Lockhart Hardiman (Richard Hardiman), James Lockhart Jr. (Alexandria) and David White, sister, Brenda Clegg, grandchildren, Eliza Hardiman, Angel Lockhart, James D. Lockhart, Waylon Alexander Lockhart and his beloved dog, Fii-bee.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Fairlea Baptist Church. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net. Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
