Jerry Ammermon Sr.

ALDERSON, WV – Jerry Lee Ammermon Sr., 83 of Alderson, WV passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV. Born April 27, 1941, in Wilmington, DE he was the son of the late Renzay Burton and Caroline Amelia Wilson Ammermon.  Jerry was a Carpenter by trade.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ammermon, sister, Gloria Andes and great granddaughter, Briahna Morgan.

Survivors include his loving companion, Connie Powell, son, Jerry Lee Ammermon Jr (Mary Lecates), daughters, Sherry Shawver (Ronnie) and Deborah Ammermon (Kevin Treadway), brothers, Larry Ammermon (Barbara) and Ray Ammermon, grandchildren, Michael Ammermon, Matthew Ammermon, Ashley Temple, and Ryan Treadway (Sophia), ten great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Blue Sulphur Church of God, Snake Run Road with Pastor George Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery.
