Jerry Walter Kerns

Jerry W. Kerns, 65, of Lewisburg passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte. Born May 3, 1948 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John Walter Kerns and Madeline Moody Kerns and in addition to his parents was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Kerns. He was an over the road truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Marie Waller Kerns of Lewisburg, son, Jerry Schearer of Reading, PA; daughter, Rhonda Boyer of Reading, PA; two grandchildren; brothers, Tom Kerns of Reading, PA and Johnny Kerns of Checotah, OK; sister Nancy Autrey of Humboldt, TN and an aunt, Rose Ann Defibaugh of Lewisburg. Per Mr. Kerns wishes, there will be no services.
