Jesus Edmundo Valencia

WALDORF, MD - Jesus Edmundo Valencia, 82 of Swan Point, MD passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at The Charleston Senior Community, Waldorf, MD.  Born August 27, 1941, in Jalapa, Guatemala, he was the son of the late Jesus Valencia and Sara Fugueroa Valencia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving companion, Sharon Hilman.

Survivors include a daughter, Laura Verga (Greg), brothers, Roberto Valencia (Sylvia), Gustavo Valencia (Esperanza) sisters, Flor Valencia Garcia, and Blanca Valencia de Garcia (Oscar), two grandchildren, Madison and Leslie Verga, several nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 29, 2023, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the Rosewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the Pay it Forward endeavor to help someone in need.
