John "Eddie" Massie

John "Eddie" Massie passed away October 23, 2013 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital following surgery. He died peacefully with his close family near. He was preceded in death by his son Shawn in 2011. He is survived by his wife, Marty of Lewisburg; his son Shane and wife Nikki of Sinks Grove; his mother Alice Coff, of Frankford; father Alton Massie; grandchildren Clara, Isaac and Nathaniel of Sinks Grove; sisters Ellie and husband, Moe Rapp of Auto; Thelma of Frankford; Lorranine and husband, Larry Sharp of Marlinton; nephew Trevor; and niece Savana; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Saturday October 26, 2013, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. service will begin at 7:30 at Morgan Funeral Home. Pastors John Taylor and Elder Roger Alder officiating. It was Eddie's wishes to be cremated and another memorial service will follow at a later date.
