John C. Temple Iii

John C. Temple III, age 76 of Caldwell, WV and formerly of West Palm Beach, FL passed away on August 16, 2015. Born June 29, 1939 in Newport News, VA to Virginia and John C. Temple II, he is a graduate of Palm Beach Lakes High School in West Palm Beach. Mr. Temple had served in the United States Air Force and was a long time member of the Lewisburg Elks Club. He was a loyal fan of the Miami Dolphins football team and upon his moving to West Virginia he also became a loyal Mountaineer fan. John volunteered yearly for the PGA National Classic held at the Greenbrier and was involved with the Adopt A Highway program and if you would be driving on Stonehouse Road you can see one of their signs bearing his name. John was a very loyal and loving husband to his wife, Libby, and a beloved father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; children, Carl Wright, Micki Mitchell, Kathy Rodberg, Michael Temple and wife, Tracy, and Diana Perry and husband, Michael all of Florida; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren, sisters, Gale Coyler and Laura Temple both of Nashville, TN; and his buddy and best friend, his cat, Clyde.Service:2:00 PM FridayAugust 21Lewisburg Elks Country Club368 Brush RoadLewisburg, WV
