Joseph John Braskey

Joseph John Braskey, 96, of Alderson, WV passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Greenbrier Valley Hospital in Ronceverte. Born March 15, 1915 at Gary, WV, he was the son of the late Steve and Rose Rokozki Braskey and was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Katherine Leach. He worked most of his life as a miner and welder and was a member of the United Steel Workers of America. Survivors include his daughter, Catherine Fortenberry and husband Bill of Versailles, KY; son, Joseph Braskey; sister, Magdalene Yuhasz of Calabash, NC; grandchildren,Deborah Fortenberry of Colorado Springs,Karen Fortenberry of Seattle, WA, Joseph Braskey and wife, Barbara of New York City and Stephanie Braskey of St. Louis, MO; seven Great Grandchildren and numerous neices and nephews.
