Joseph Maynard Miller

Joseph Maynard Miller, 79, of Alderson passed away on Sunday May 22, 2016.Born April 13, 1937 in New York he was the son of the late Leo Miller Sr. and Yvonne Miller of New York. Joseph served in the United States Military and is a retired truck driver.In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by daughter, Susie Colwell; brother, Leo Miller Jr.; brothers-in-law, Jerry Holcomb, Grady Austin, and Robert Hannan.Joseph is survived by his wife, Juanita Plumley Miller; sons, Joseph M. Plumley and wife, Carrie of North Carolina, and Bruce A. Plumley and wife, Bucki of Alderson; daughters, Sandra Duffina and Nancy Amos and husband, John all of Canada, Cindy Leboeuf and husband, Eric of New York, Barbara Cox and husband, Arthur of Vermont, and Mona Burdette and husband, Bubba of West Virginia; his mother, Yvonne Miller of New York; brothers, Henry Miller, Richard Miller, and Roger Miller all of New York; sisters-in-law, Rhonda, Paula, Ester, Tina, and Nora all of West Virginia; brothers-in-law, Jimmy and Chessie of West Virginia; nineteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday May 27, 2016 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Frank Jones officiating.Visitation will be from 1:00 PM till time of the service at the funeral home.
