Joseph B. Osborne

Joseph B. Osborne, born February 17, 1922 in Charleston, WV went home to be with the Lord January 20, 2012. He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, paw-paw and uncle and was a World War II veteran with numerous decorations. Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Osborne; parents, Joseph B. and Myrtle Elizabeth Mullins Osborne and brother, John Osborne. Survivors include his four sons, Collin Osborne of Ocala, FL, Kelvy Osborne (Joyce) of White Sulphur Springs, Urban Osborne (Holly) of Clintonville and Dolas Osborne of Rainelle; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the caregivers and Homecare Plus staff, the Veterans Hospital and home based health team. The family appreciated each and every one, they received support from with special thanks to Diane Godby. Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Mike Tincher officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery at Lewisburg. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Thursday at the funeral Home.
