Josephine Mcclung

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV - Josephine Edra Eggleston Terry McClung, 83 of White Sulphur Springs, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center after a long illness. She was the matriarch of her family and a dedicated wife and mother. Josephine retired from The Greenbrier Resort after 30 years of service. She was a lifelong resident of White Sulphur Springs, WV. Born May 31, 1933, at Alderson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Ida Jeanette Bryant Eggleston. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, David Russell Terry, and her second husband, Todd Thomas McClung, brothers, Junior, Homer, Roscoe, Clarence and Carlos Eggleston, and a sister, Pauline Eggleston. She is survived by three children, David A. Terry (Beverly) of Dublin, VA, Rebecca A. Terry of White Sulphur Springs, WV, and Marvin R. Terry (Vickie) of Ronceverte, WV, three step children, Sherman T. McClung (Carol) of Crawley, WV, Joseph H. McClung (Gail) of Rich Creek, VA, and Brenda L. Cutts of Peterstown, WV, seven grandchildren, Chance Terry, Amy Phillips (Justin), Matthew McClung (Stephanie), Patrick McClung (Kayla), Darrel McClung (Amber), Timothy McClung (Letty), Kimberly McClung, two sisters, Madeline Cutlip and Maxine Sims, brother, Charles Eggleston (Doris Kessinger), four great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family. Josephine will be missed and always remembered by all her family and friends.Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901, with Pastor Ray Propps and Pastor Joey Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Whatcoat United Methodist Church Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, WV. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of the service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
