Katherine Issabell Cooke

ANTHONY, WV – Katherine Issabell Cooke, 95 of Anthony, WV passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, at her home. Born April 12, 1929, in Frankford, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles Lacy and Bertha Elizabeth Adwell Yates.  Katherine was a longtime member of the Anthony Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tedd S. Cooke, daughter, Karen Pritt, brothers, Billy and Nelson Yates, sisters, Helen Campbell, Hilda Seldomridge, Bertha Snedegar and Margaret Hamrick.

Survivors include her son, Walter Cooke, brother, Junior Yates (Carol), several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lloyd Camp officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
