Kathy Gail Mcmillion

Kathy Gail McMillion, 55, of Ronceverte, WV went home to her father, mother, and brother in heaven on October 21, 2023 while awaiting a lung transplant at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA.

Kathy was born in Ronceverte, WV to her parents, Melvin Forrest Dolan and Betsy Ross Dolan.  She grew up on Teaberry Road with her brother, Michael Dolan (Nikki), and sister, Cheryl Coulter (Richard). She was a mother to three daughters Chelsea Ryder, Heather Webb (Delton), and Shaelynn Withrow (Charles). She was a loving grandmother to Carter Webb, Colt Webb, Ariel Webb, Damion Simmons, and Noel Ryder. She had a special bond with her niece, Autumn Judy (Channing).

Preceding her in death was her parents Melvin and Betsy, her brother Michael, and her cousin David Huffman whom Kathy cared for.

Survivors include her daughters, sister, grandchildren, brothers, Melvin Dolan Jr. (Janet), Roger Dolan (Debbie), and sister Joyce Gill (Dave), along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kathy will forever be remembered for her vibrancy, generosity, carefree nature and unconditional love. She was the sparkle in the world. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to make crafts and share them with the people she loved. Her favorite place was at the beach. She had many friends that she loved dearly.

Even though Kathy was unable to receive the lung transplant she needed, she gave the gift of life to many people by being an organ donor. The family hopes the recipients will live full and happy lives with what she was able to give.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV,  with Pastor Jacob Riley officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Anderson Cemetery, Ronceverte, WV.
