Kenneth Howell

RONCEVERTE, WV - Kenneth Howell, 88 of Ronceverte, WV, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center, Ronceverte, WV. Born January 21, 1937, in Montgomery, AL, he was the son of the late Finis Boyd and Hattie Mary Pinkerton Howell. Kenny was a US Army Veteran. He had worked in Troy, MI at Berkley Screw Products as a machinist and supervisor for thirteen years. In 1975, Kenny moved to Greenbrier County and worked for the Greenbrier County Board of Education for approximately thirty years. He loved hunting, fishing, and raising a garden, and was known to share his extra crops with friends and neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Howell, a sister, Johnnie, and brother-in-law, Buddy Treece, and his outdoor buddy, Gene Lester. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Mary Lou Howell, his children, Mike and Wendy of Michigan, brothers, Billie and Rick Howell of Alabama, and a sister, Ophelia Long of Ohio, along with several nieces and nephews, all of whom he dearly loved. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Barnett officiating. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net.
