Leo Richard "Red" McCoy,77, of Droop Mountain passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the White Sulphur Springs Center. Born April 14, 1937 at Droop he was the son of the late Lanty and Genevieve Vaughn McCoy. Red was a retired truck driver, avid hunter, and gun collector. He loved going to shooting matches and gathering with friends for a friendly game of poker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Workman McCoy; sons, Tommy and Bill McCoy; a sister, Betty Black; and brothers, Thomas, Harry, and William McCoy. Red is survived by his daughter, Teresa Hodge (Jason) of Frankford; his son, Ricky McCoy of Dunbar; two sisters, Judy Cutlip (Roland) of Hillsboro, and Garnett Sharp (Tom) of Marlinton; grandchildren, Tracy, Mitch, and L.T.
