On March 12, 2019, Leslie Earnest Gwinn, age 84 entered the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a charter member of the Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs. He was a retired Greenbrier Hotel employee of fifty-five years. Leslie was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Gwinn and mother Irene Gwinn, sister Elene Campbell and husband Harold, son-in-law, Rick Bowen, granddaughter, Ella Bowen and great grandson, Liam Craft. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Joan Gwinn, daughters, Debbie Gwinn of Charlottesville, VA and Pam Bowen of White Sulphur Springs, WV, grandson, Wannis Bowen (Heather) of Maryville, TN, granddaughter, Malary Bowen-Craft (Nathan) of White Sulphur Springs, WV, brothers, Leo Gwinn (Darlene) of Colorado and Glenville Gwinn (Mildred) of Christiansburg, VA, niece Sharon Zimmerman (Bill) , great nephew, Terrance Zimmerman all of White Sulphur Springs, WV. He was a proud great grandfather of Gavin Craft, Miriam Bowen, JoElla Craft and Keats Bowen. Funeral service will be 3:30 PM, Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be from 1:30 until time of the service, Friday at the funeral home. The family would like to express their gratitude and love to the staff, nurses and CNA’s of Greenbrier Health Care Center. They are our angels on earth.
