Lester Jearl Mabry

Lester Jearl Mabry, 80, of Caldwell went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea.Born August 30, 1935 at Big Ridge, VA he was the son of the late Wesley Hayes Mabry and Della Mae Hylton Mabry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty-six years, Frances Defibaugh Mabry; children, Anita Zimmerman (William) of Organ Cave, Gary Mabry (Ronda) of Pickaway, Angela Sykes (Duane) of White Sulphur Springs, and Jonathan Mabry (Ashley) of Lewisburg; a sister, Betty Harrison of Lexington, SC; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday April 23, 2016 at the Lewisburg Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Comer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens at Lewisburg.Friends may call from 11:00 AM to time of the service at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Lewisburg Baptist Church.
