RONCEVERTE, WV – Linda Carol Porterfield, 77 of Ronceverte, WV passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Lewis Gale Hospital – Salem. Born January 24, 1948, in Ronceverte, WV, she was the daughter of the late Julian Ray and Lois Evelyn Hodges Sams. Linda retired as a Registered Nurse.
Survivors include her loving husband, Ronald Eugene Porterfield, daughters, Gina Bergeron (Geoffrey) and Julie Donaldson, ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
It was Linda’s wish to be cremated. There will be no service at this time. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net. Arrangements entrusted to Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
