Lisa Goins Blankenship

Lisa Gaye Goins Blankenship went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2016.She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was loved by many in the community. Her caring, loving, bright personality left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by everyone.Born August 21, 1971 at Ronceverte she was the daughter of the late Darrell and Barbara Goins of Lewisburg. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Woody and Mae Jones of Alderson; paternal grandparents, Elwood and Jesse Goins of Alderson; and father and mother-in-law, Harley and Edith Blankenship of Renick.Those left to cherish Lisas memory are her husband, Eugene Blankenship; two sons, Shane Blankenship and Cordell Blankenship both of Renick; sisters, Joetta Lemons and husband, Jim of Lewisburg and Kathy Hanna and husband, Dave of Maxwelton; brothers, Johnny Goins and wife, Melissa of Lewisburg, and Junior Goins and wife, Chrissy of Smoot; nieces and nephews, Justin and Brian Goins, Christina, Carrie, and Johnny Lee Goins, Derek Lee and Katie Grace Hanna, Olivia, Kayleigh, and Jesse Goins, David Lee Blankenship Jr., Jackie Sablack, and Danielle Hagger; and one great niece, Isabelle Paige Goins.A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday July 8, 2016 at the Richardson Family Cemetery at Smoot with Pastor Wes Comer officiating.Directions to the cemetery: Take the Sam Black Exit 156. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Go to the old Citgo Station and make a left onto Blue Sulphur Road. Drive for about 1 miles to the first left - Lorenza Ridge Road. Drive for about mile and the Richardson Family Cemetery will be on the left.
