Lloyd S. Quick, 92, of Lewisburg passed away Thursday evening, September 26, 2013 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born March 21, 1921 in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late St. Clair Bryan and Mamie Pearl Zimmerman Quick and was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters, his wife, Marie and a special friend, Maxine Mann. Mr. Quick was a member of Old Stone Presbyterian Church, served overseas in World War II with the US Army, and retired from WV Department of Highways. In retirement, he enjoyed bowling and participated in local league play. Lloyd is survived by his sister, Grace Quick of Lewisburg, son, Timothy Quick of Lewisburg, daughter, Donna Hanway of Palm Harbor, FL; grandsons Christopher Hanway of Dunedin, FL and Bradford Hanway and wife, Michelle of Oldsmar, FL and great grandchildren, Tucker Hanway of Dunedin, FL and Grayce Hanway of Oldsmar, Fl. Graveside services and burial will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg with Rev. Dexter Taylor officiating.
