Lorena Mae Dale

Lory Mae Dale, 74, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Roanoke, VA.

Born December 19, 1951 in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clifford L. Burgett and Hazel M. Howard.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Dawn Dale. She is survived by her two granddaughters, Angelina Valentine Scott and Arwyn Samantha Waid, as well as her other daughter, Crystal Vaughn.

Lory was a woman known for her generosity and heart of gold, as well as her love of music and nature. She touched countless lives with her kindness over the years. Whether she was decorating Christmas trees for every nursing home resident in Greenbrier county, or baking cookies for the garbage man, she was always giving back to those around her. She will be remembered as whimsical, joyous, and overflowing with life.

Visitation begins on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m.
