Loretta M. Profeta

LEXINGTON, NC – Loretta M. Profeta, 92, passed away peacefully in her home, October 8, 2024. Born April 14, 1932, in Glace, WV she was the daughter of the late James Earnest Morris and Rosella Mae Hoke Morris.

She is survived by her sister, Vernie Alexander, son, Gary Profeta (Barbara), six grandchildren, Tony, Jessica, Melissa, Jason, Joseph and Eric Profeta, three great grandchildren, Logan, Luca and Jake, numerous extended family and friends including Keith Eggers and Laura Hankins, her neighbors and friends, whom she greatly loved.

Loretta was a very loving person, from a young age, she cared for a lot of children and helped raise families. She went on to marry the late Antonio Profeta and started her own family. Being the matriarch of her family, she was the glue that kept everyone together. She would always be there, doing whatever she could for anyone she loved. Loretta had a lifetime of spreading love and she will be greatly missed by everyone, whose life she touched.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday October 15, 2024, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
